Exercise 1 – Breathless Silence.

There are 3 rounds

You will take 30 deep rhythmic breaths empty your lungs and don’t take a breath for:

Round 1 – 30 seconds

Round 2 – 60 seconds

Round 3 – 90 seconds

You may feel light-headed and perhaps some other feelings.

During the time of holding empty lungs, there will be silence.

Pay attention to your body what is it doing.

You will feel something different the longer you hold the empty breath

Watch for changes as you go through each round.

Close your eyes. Hold as long as you can.

There will be a deep full breath at the end of the empty lung hold and you will hold that for 15 seconds – pay attention to what your body is doing.

What I have noticed during and after the exercise is a stronger sense of the observer or inner witness.

My meditation time is different.

Do Not practice this more than twice a day.

This will take about 10 minutes and we will have time for Q&A


Exercise 2 Breathless 

This exercise is to be done only after you have done Exercise 1 for at least a week – 2 weeks is preferred.
